DiandianGoal is a mobile app developed by Fanta7 Technology in Toronto, providing an ultimate solution to people with too many cards by bringing all the membership cards (registered locations) together.

It was first launched in Aug. 2015 and is available in App Store and Google Play.

My Role

I worked as a freelance UI designer for Fanta7 in 2015, responsible for the UI design of the first generation DiandianGoal app. I also participated in the initial user experience design process.

Background

Considering the inconvenience that people carrying many membership cards at the same time, Fanta7 decided to develop an app with a "virtual card", which allows users to collect points and get rewards at different locations as long as they are registered in Fanta7. Besides the main function, this app also provides rich information about events and special discounts.

The Process

We discussed and brainstormed together, gathering some initial ideas.

Final Screens

With the efforts of the whole team, wireframes and interactions were finalized for the prototype. I started to generate some ideas about the visual elements on the screen.

The WIN

Until now, with more than 5,000 downloads, DiandianGoal has proven its impact in the Chinese community in Canada.

Along the last 15 months, DiandianGoal has updated for several times and the interface has been changed as well. However, you can find out the initial structure and some visual elements are still being used, which gave me confidence that my design was not only delightful and functional, but offered a good user experience.

Check DiandianGoal in App Store and Google Play.
